Frequently asked questions
- How do I install ShakaFlow in my Slack workspace?
- Click "Add to Slack" on our landing page, sign in to Slack as a workspace administrator, and approve the requested permissions. After install you will be directed to a confirmation page with next steps.
- How do I connect GitHub, Toggl, Jira, Shortcut, Linear, or 15Five?
- From Slack, run /sf-setup-integrations and follow the modal for the integration you want to add. Each integration uses its own OAuth flow or API token, depending on the platform.
- Can I use my own AI provider key (BYOK)?
- Yes. Run /sf-setup-integrations in Slack and add your Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key. BYOK is recommended for any data-sensitive deployment so prompts are billed and controlled by your account. We are working on moving this to the web dashboard soon.
- How do I delete all my data?
- Email us from a workspace administrator address using the button above and ask for deletion. We will permanently delete all data associated with your workspace within seven (7) business days and confirm in writing once complete.
- I found a bug or want to suggest a feature.
- Please email us with as much detail as possible (workspace name, what you tried, what you expected, what happened). Screenshots and message links help us reproduce the issue quickly.
- I uninstalled ShakaFlow from Slack — is my data deleted?
- When you uninstall from Slack, we mark your workspace as inactive but keep your data so you can reinstall without losing history. To permanently delete all data associated with your workspace, email us using the button above.
